This year to get ready for Christmas the girls have been counting down the days with an advent calendar, reading the Christmas story, baking with me, and watching lots of Christmas specials!

We have attended Zoolights, driven around to see Christmas lights, decorated the house and sang lots and lots of songs. (Lilee’s favorite is We Wish You a Merry Christmas).

During this busy season of advent we want to be certain to remember why we celebrate. We want to focus more on giving than getting, more on worshipping than just singing, and more on relationships than material things.
